I'm Desi L., the breeder behind Bling Shih Tzu located in Silver Lake, OR. We are dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our pups. We love what we do and truly want nothing more than to see each and every one of our puppies shine! I’ve accomplished many champions and grand champions through akc shows as a breeder owner handler. I strive to improve the breed with each planned breeding . Not only are they bred to akc standards they are my children raised in my home and socialized to make their lives an easy seamless transition into their forever homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I showed for many years then it became a desire to be an owner breeder handler so I just took off. After breeding my first litter I was so hooked !

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and white, brindle and white, red and white, and gold and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Desi

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
