I'm MJ R., the breeder behind Blue River Havanese located in Utah. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others.

I have always gotten puppies/dogs from an individual who could no longer care for their pet or from a shelter. Getting my puppy from MJ was such a pleasant experience. She kept in touch with me with updates and she was able to hold on to Bella while we were finishing some updates on our home. When we met at the airport, there was an instant connection, she is truly a wonderful person and absolutely loves what she does!
