I'm Karin, the breeder behind Blue Skye Doodles located in Oregon. Responsibly raising Bernedoodles and Australian Mountain Doodles (aka Aussie Bernedoodles) since 2015. We aren’t just raising puppies, we are raising your new family member. We raise all puppies in our home with ENS and Puppy Culture protocols and prioritize the health, temperament and happiness of the parents and puppies.
Q. & A. with Karin
Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with Doodles when our youngest son raised a Doodle puppy to be a future service dog for a non-profit. We were smitten and feel fortunate we can match these amazing puppies with loving families. We are proud to have donated puppies to become future service and therapy dogs.
What makes your program special?
We take great care, raising each puppy in our home, ensuring they have lots of enrichment and are exposed to household noises and other dogs to prepare them for their new life with you. They go home crate comfortable and using an artificial turf potty which helps with their transition into your home. And after you bring your puppy home, we are available for any questions you may have.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include tiny, mini, and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include tri-color, blue merle, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Karin was so great to work with when we found our puppy, Phyllis. We lived many states away and she carefully organized the travel arrangements and made sure that we were updated with all the travel plans along the way. The entire process was so great from the time we found our puppy on the website and inquired with Blue Sky Doodles through Good Dog all the way through picking our puppy up at our local airport. Phyllis has been with us for just over a month now and she's already adjusted to life with our busy family of 5 humans and her fur-brother :)!

We are so in love with our new puppy! Blue Skye Doodles was great to work with. They were responsive and kind. You can easily see how much they love their dogs, and want the best for the puppies born to them. We even told a friend about them, and they brought home a new puppy from Blue Skye a few weeks later. ❤️
