Bluebonnetridge Aussies

Meet the breeder

I'm Angela T., the breeder behind Bluebonnetridge Aussies located in Royse City, TX. We take great pride in raising healthy, well-socialized puppies that are not only beautiful but calm and wickedly smart. All of our breeding crosses are specifically screened by our family to ensure the puppies produced have a medium to low drive which will more readily integrate into a family setting. Our puppies are raised indoors on our ranch with lots of love and interaction as our goal is to produce amazing family dogs. One of the ways we do this is by raising them with many of the Puppy Culture protocols including Early Neurological Stimulation, introduction to wobble boards, tunnels, steps, and other loud noises.

Q. & A. with Angela

  • Why did you start breeding?

We bought our first Aussie 14 years ago as a service dog for one of our son's suffering from depression. Maverick, showed us how intelligent and intuitive Aussies are. Having an Aussie became a way of life for our family which naturally led to a passion for sharing this amazing breed with other families!
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program is special because of our passion and commitment to raising puppies the way they should be and often aren't. Our puppies come pre-spoiled, kid approved and ready to integrate into their new families. We are always looking for new ways to improve the quality of our program and the puppies we raise. Our goal for this year is to title several of our dogs in the show ring!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Australian Shepherd puppies include black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
