I'm Jillann T., the breeder behind BlueSpark Australian Shepherds located in Stanwood, WA. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and structure. We strive to produce beautiful and versatile beloved companions. We are an in-home program where our dogs are our companions first and foremost. We are dedicated to providing each of our puppies with loving and caring forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
We participate in conformation shows and started breeding to continue and improve upon our wonderful Aussie line. Our breeding program strives to maintain the unique characteristics of the Australian Shepherd while placing an emphasis on producing puppies of superior health, temperament, and conformation.What makes your program special?
We are passionate about Aussies, and our love for these dogs shines through in every aspect of our breeding program. We take great care with each breeding to ensure we are producing puppies that are excellent representations of the breed. Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home and are loved as family, and we strive to place each pup in an enriching and loving home!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Shadow
Shadow is a lovely-tempered female with a big personality for one dog. She is moderate, as stated in the breed standard, and will always be my reserve queen. She started her AKC championship by going Best Opposite over specials for a 5-point major. She then went on to place 2nd in an American Bred class of 16 at the 2022 ASCA National Specialty. I could not be prouder of her! But then, she blew my expectations out of the water with her first litter and continued to impress with her second. I cannot wait to see what’s next for her!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
