I'm Daniela C., the breeder behind Bohemian Beauty Yorkshire Terrier located in Portland, OR. I deeply care about our dogs because they are all part of our family. I insist on talking/Facetiming with my potential buyer(s) to get to know them and learn about the environment the puppy will live in. I don't ship my pups, but can meet halfway or fly at half of the expense.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    With my husband traveling due to his job, three kids and no relatives living nearby, I needed a job that I could do from the comfort of our home. It took me 4 years from the time I had the idea to the point where we had our first litter. I did a lot of research and imported 3 of my dogs from Europe from my mentor. I am honest and transparent with my buyer(s) and try to provide as much information as possible.

  • What makes your program special?

    I strongly believe that a 7 or 8-week old puppy is too young to be adopted and needs to stay with his/her mother and siblings until 12-weeks old to be well-socialized, has to be seen by a vet, dewormed and receive at least one required vaccination prior to adoption. I provide contract, vaccination record and American Kennel Club limited registration.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Daniela

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    I traveled from the east coast to Oregon and got Madonna after matching with Daniela both online and via FaceTime. The main reason I chose Madonna is because of Daniela’s practices as a breeder; she truly cares about her dogs and puppies. I’ve now had Madonna-who we renamed Lady Bird aka Birdie- for five weeks and she is already a beloved member of our family. Birdie is very smart and very, very loving. I am already training her to be a service dog. We have two Maine Coon cats and she is comfortable with them, and has already made other doggie friends in our building.     I have learned that to get an exceptional puppy, you have to go through an exceptional breeder. Daniela is that breeder She started Patrick off the right way. As well as being almost completely potty trained, Patrick was also socialized with other dogs and children. He was fed high quality food, and did not have any anxiety issues. Daniela also met me half-way to pick Patrick up; which made it very easy for me. I can not recommend Daniela enough and If I ever get Patrick a brother or sister, I will go through Daniela at Bohemian Beauty's.

    Daniela was very good to work with and if I were in the market for a second yorkie, I would definitely start my search with her. I was looking for a pup to train as my hearing dog. Daniela was so kind to video a few of her pups responding to sounds and sending the videos so I could determine whether I thought any of the pups would make a good hearing dog. One pup, Olivia was her name, responded very well and she is the pup I selected. Her name is now Pagett. Daniela was very thorough in the information she provided with respect to food, a resource book recommendation, the comb and brush she uses, and even showed me the clippers she uses to groom her dogs. She provided me with my choice of a blanket that Pagett, her mom, and her brother slept with. She also gave me my choice of a couple of little hair bows and gave us a few brand new little toys. When I came to pick Pagett up, I brought my sister with me and Daniela and my sister chatted away, giving me time to become acquainted with Pagett before wisking her off to her new life. All in all, Daniela was very pleasant and easy to work with.
