I'm Eric B., the breeder behind Bonderosa Kennels located in Hillsville, VA. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. We treasure each puppy in our program and give them all the attention and care that we possibly can. We work hard so our puppies can leave our home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I had always wanted corgis. We did our research for a long time and decided on the breeder we wanted to buy our first from. We went to get one little girl and ended up bring 2 home. Corgis are amazing and love their families. All of our corgis are genetically tested for DM, EIC, VWD1 to ensure that no baby will ever be genetically affected by these disease.

  • What makes your program special?

    We genetically test all of our corgis to ensure that there are no genetic defects that will harm the babies in the future. All of our babies go to the vet for their vaccinations and a complete health checkup before going to their new homes. Puppies are started on their vaccinations and are dewormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks old. Our puppies are also microchipped to ensure their lifelong safety.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    American Corgi puppies include red and white, gray and white, fawn, blue merle and white, black and white, and black and tan. Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include fawn, red, sable, black and tan, white and red, white and black, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Eric

Eric has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Eric partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

"Our babies are sold on a spay and neuter agreement and price depends on parents and color. We will discuss breeding right if you are looking for them, but it is on an individual basics. The deposit is nonfundable except in the case something happens to the puppy, or your puppy does not get 100% healthy check up from the vet then you deposit is refunded 100%. The deposit does come off of the final price. Puppies cannot be reserved without a deposit."

Eric may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
