I'm Alan W., the breeder behind Bordercolliecouple located in Goldston, NC. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!

Why did you start breeding?
After we retired we wanted to share our experience with the breed. For us there are no others quite like this breed.
What makes your program special?
All hands on. Our puppies are part of our family and are treated as such. Your new pup will be loving and rest assured they have always been cared for as our family members. They really are part of our family. I still keep in touch with most of the folks that we have sold too.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Alan

Alan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and $800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes first vaccinations and a puppy kit which includes all needed shots for the first year. This does exclude rabies which will be needed after they turn 1 year. They are pad trained and have been socialized. Starter food and a few pads to get you started. Toys that they play with. All our puppies are the same price.”

Alan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Alan and his wife were exceptionally kind, accommodating, and informative. Alan was extremely responsive, in a timely manner, and it only took about 3 hours from first contact, to arriving at their house and purchasing our newest family member. The puppy is healthy, rambunctious and abundantly sweet. We could tell she was well-cared for, and they even gave us a whole years worth of supplies for her. The pricing was fair, and our interactions with them were positive. If we should ever decide to add more pups to our pack, we will be sure to go back to them.
