I'm Ashlei W., the breeder behind Borderland's Kennel located in Cabot, AR. I am just starting and hope to continue giving my puppies loving homes. My dogs come from a healthy environment with good temperaments. They are loving and smart. They are rasied in my home with my young son.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got in to breeding to help me financially, to be able to fix my home. I knew a few breeders and this seemed helpful since I'm a single parent and I didn't want to be away form my son even more.

  • What makes your program special?

    Everything I do is in home and with my son so the dogs get plenty of love.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black white and silver, brindle and white, and liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Ashlei

Ashlei has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Ashlei partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes registration in one of these registries APRI, or AKC limited pet only (no breeding), Veterinary visit for health check, first parvo shot, Microchipping, Dewclaws removed, goodies. Deposit is to hold puppy of the buyers choosing. If buyer backs out Deposit is not refunded. Deposit is refundable if something has happened to the puppy or if there is a health issue with the puppy and buyer doesn't want it.”

Contract & health guarantee

Ashlei may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Ashlei was great and kept me updated on the little one until we picked him up. We went to pick him up and fell in love with him and all the other puppies as well.
