I'm Jodi H., the breeder behind Borthwick Shelties located in Marquette County, MI. We produce emotionally well-adjusted, happy pups for show, agility, and pet homes with a focus on conformation and health. We are an ethical hobby breeding program with a great amount of education and experience in breeding healthy Shelties. It would be our pleasure to introduce you and your family to your next beloved pup!

Why did you start breeding?
We love Shelties. Our dogs have brought us so much joy and happiness that we wanted to give back to them by producing the highest quality dogs and providing them a wonderful life with wonderful families. Our goal is to not only produce beautiful, healthy puppies but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that the Shetland Sheepdog will continue to thrive for generations to come.What makes your program special?
Our involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that we breed our dogs by. We take great care with each breeding to ensure we are producing puppies that are excellent representations of the breed. We have high expectations for our puppies and strive to place each one in an enriching and loving home!Where do your breeding dogs live?

"The price also includes dewclaw removal, first vaccinations, all AKC paperwork, and a lifetime of support for a healthy, well-bred dog. All puppy prices are the same regardless of the coloring or sex of the pup."

About Trinity
Trinity is a female Shetland Sheepdog. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Jodi decided to make her part of their program. Jodi has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Dermatomyositis, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
