Meet the breeder

I'm Robyn W., the breeder behind Boseiai’s Sassafras Miniature Dachshunds located in Harvest, AL. We maintain a very limited breeding program, prioritizing health and temperament above all. Each pairing is thoughtfully planned to preserve sound conformation, athleticism, and intelligence. Our mission is to raise healthy, well-adjusted dogs who bring lasting companionship and joy.

Q. & A. with Robyn

  • Why did you start breeding?

I became involved in breeding dogs when my son developed an interest in dog showing. What began as a way to support his passion grew into a lifelong commitment to raising and breeding healthy, well-adjusted dogs with excellent temperaments. With over 16 years of experience raising and exhibiting dogs, my focus remains on producing sound, healthy companions for loving families.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes us special is simple — we genuinely care about every dog we bring into this world. We carefully plan each breeding with health, temperament, and overall quality as our highest priorities. Our goal is not quantity, but excellence. Every puppy is raised with intention, socialized with love, and placed thoughtfully to ensure they become cherished lifelong family members.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, cream, red, black, chocolate, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Robyn

Robyn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Robyn partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Our puppies go to approved homes after twelve weeks of age, allowing them time to develop, socialize, and receive the care they need before joining their new families.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“The price includes the guarantee, first round of vaccinations, deworming, and puppy socialization. Prices vary. A deposit secures your place and reserves a specific puppy. Because each puppy receives individualized care, time, and attention, the deposit confirms the buyer’s serious intent and allows us to hold the puppy and discontinue offering them to other families.”

Contract & health guarantee

Robyn may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Robyn offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Robyn directly.
