Pam H.

Breeder of Dachshunds

Meet the breeder

I'm Pam H., the breeder behind Boston Crossing located in Boston, KY. My focus is on breeding dogs that are healthy and have access to an environment where they can thrive. I want to provide puppies that have a great start in finding their perfect family.

Q. & A. with Pam

  • Why did you start breeding?

My neighbor friend Brittany raises dachshunds and I watched her develop her program. I was impressed with the breed. With her encouragement I got my first dachshund Rose a wire haired adult. Shortly after that I found Ginger, another wirehaired girl. Brittany is my mentor and I am learning as I go.
  • What makes your program special?

I have a lot of animal, dog and farm experience. I have an interest in genetics and know the importance of good breeding and proper pairing of parents. My dogs receive optimal conditions to produce quality offspring.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have wirehaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
