Meet the breeder

I'm Jessika B., the breeder behind Bowden Family Homestead LLC - SDR Pomeranians located in Mountain Home, AR. We’re a small family-run program dedicated to raising healthy, happy, and well-socialized Pomeranians. Nestled on our Arkansas farm, our puppies are raised in-home, surrounded by kids, other pets, and everyday life. We focus on quality over quantity and always ensure optimal health and temperament.

Q. & A. with Jessika

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started 16 yrs ago w/a great mentor learning about husbandry, breeding, grooming, training and showing Goldens. I grew up with Poms & fell in love with their disposition & beautiful coats. I've had the pleasure of working with a repro vet for a year, and eventually made the decision to start my own program with the guidance of my mentors, our veterinarian and other breeders.
  • What makes your program special?

My family & I put our love, sweat & tears into our furbabies. They get only the best in vet care&nutrition. We ensure each pup is placed into a home that is best suited for them&for their new family. Puppies are chosen between 8-10wks post temperment evaluation &placed at 12wks. We pride ourselves on having &producing well rounded, well socialized, & healthy fur babies, ready to take on the world.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red, orange, cream, black, white, cream sable, chocolate merle, tri-colored, red sable, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
