I'm Tonya T., the breeder behind Brandywine Labradors located in Harrison, AR. We are a SMALL hobbyist and believe it is important to give focus and love to every individual puppy. We follow Puppy Culture practices, perform OFA and DNA health testing, focus on nutrition, socialization, training and more. But mostly, we give each little puppy lots of love and attention. This approach focuses on the puppy's needs as well as your need of receiving a healthy, happy companion for life. We would love for you to join the Brandywine family.
Q. & A. with Tonya
Why did you start breeding?
Simply put, we have a passion for labrador retrievers. We have seen the joy they can bring to different people, whether it's a young child wanting a playmate, a teenager looking to explore with a buddy, a veteran looking for comfort, or a family with special needs wanting a service dog, you can't beat a labrador retriever. Now that we are retired, we can hopefully give families the same joy that labs have brought us over the years. What started out as a hobby, has grown into a passion. We now work with Puppy Culture, AKC standards, Volhard's Puppy Aptitude Testing, DNA, neurological stimulation and much more. We have grown to appreciate the science that goes into raising a healthy and beautiful puppy as well as the socialization and training needed to produce a puppy with a great temperament.
What makes your program special?
We have DNA genetic testing and OFA hip and elbow testing on parents. We ensure proper environment, vaccinations, deworming, nutrition, vet checks, micro-chipping and more for all our labs and offer a health and genetic guarantee. For puppies we provide early neurological stimulations, emotional skills training, exposure to max number of things (people, dogs, noises, challenges), enrichment, and skills training (potty, crate, etc). But, most of all, we provide daily interaction and love with a wholesome environment. We love our puppies and our Brandywine families are very special to us. Tonya is an amazing breeder of gorgeous, smart, and loving Labs. My daughter and I recently were lucky enough to add one of her puppies to our family. Bear is the 4th Lab I have owned and the first for my 9 year old little girl. We are so in love with him. From the beginning to the end of the process of picking up Bear, Tonya was so easy to work with. The love and care that Brandywine shows their Labs is unlike any I have seen. Tonya is so knowledgeable and so great with these puppies. Bear is barely 10 weeks old and one of the smartest Labs I have ever owned. I would recommend that anyone looking for a Lab get in touch with Tonya! Great breeder and even better person.
