I'm Sarah M., the breeder behind Breezy Acres Stock & Sporting Dogs located in Liverpool, PA. We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will be taking home the perfect fit for their lifestyle. We raise our litters using Puppy Culture techniques. We also expose our puppies to travel, socialization and different environments to help prepare them for life in their new homes.

Why did you start breeding?
My family has bred English Springer Spaniels for wonderful family dogs that can and will hunt with the best of the bird dogs out there since the 80’s. My husband and I took over the reigns when my parents retired about 9 years ago. Since then we have raised 5 litters of English Springer Spaniels. We are currently raising our 4th Border Collie litter.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are first and foremost our family members. Most of the time they sleep in or around our bed with us. My husband and I don’t have children of our own so our dogs really do fit into our lives as if they were our real kids. (Don’t tell them they aren’t.)
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Border Collie puppies include tri-color and black and white. English Springer Spaniel puppies include liver white and tan, black white and tan, liver and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sarah

Sarah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price covers all vetting: Deworming(starting at 2wks), first vaccines, vet exams and genetic testing as needed. This also will cover registration with ABCA & AKC where applicable. Deposits are non refundable unless otherwise deemed appropriate by the breeder(Sarah & Keiffer Mullin).”

Sarah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Ricky
• Genetics: Full panel clear (Tested through Wisdom & PawPrints) • Elbows & Hips: Not yet certified, but both evaluated as good. I plan to have him officially certified this winter once life settles down. His sire and dam both have excellent hips and elbows. • Comments: Ricky has been an easy dog to bring along. He was ready to start young — at just 8 months old, he helped push 80 head of ewes from the exhaust to set out multiple times at my own trial. I held him back until he was a little over a year old to formally start. At 1 year and 9 months, he became the Long Road Champion in Ranch at the 2024 NEBCA Finals. He has a natural outrun and is a solid driving dog. This year was a train wreck for me, so we fell behind on trialing, but I expect his 3-year-old season will show what he’s truly made of.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
