I'm Brenda Z., the breeder behind Brenda Zook's Dachshunds located in Godfrey, IL. I am a small hobby breeder of carefully selected Dachshunds. I breed for show prospects, and it is my goal to better the breed. I raise all of my dogs with love in my home. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one in an enriching and loving home that will match cherish them just as much as I do!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I decided to responsibly breed my phenomenal Dachshunds as a way to connect my pups to others that will love them just as much as I do, find my next show prospect, as well as continue my bloodlines. My dogs have enriched my life in ways I never imagined, and I am so happy to be able to share the wonderful qualities of the breed with others.

  • What makes your program special?

    My program is committed to only breeding dogs that I feel are excellent representations of their standard and will make a positive contribution to their breed and to the families who love them. My breeding program stands out amongst others because of the personal attention I give to every detail of the journey. I spoil each of my puppies with personal attention and lots of group playtime! It would be my honor to connect you with the perfect new addition to your family!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
