I'm Lorna & Austin W., the breeder behind Brewedstone Australian Shepherds located in Medina, OH. We are a small hobby kennel whose goal is to produce healthy, structurally correct Australian shepherds that are balanced in mind and body. Our dogs compete in many venues, but most importantly, excel at being loving family members. Our dogs live in our house and are our constant companions.
Q. & A. with Lorna & Austin
Why did you start breeding?
We started breeding in 2014 with the help of our mentor and many other breeding friends. It does take a village to raise puppies, learning with every litter, and knowing that the puppies we bred are sound and loving and become an integral part of another loving family brings us great happiness.
What makes your program special?
We learn a lot with each litter, researching structure, temperament, genetic, health to produce the soundest puppies we can. Countless hours are put into each litter so new owners have a confident puppy to take home. We follow the Puppy Culture methods from day one with ENS (early neurological stimulation) progress through tactile, motion, sound, barrier challenges, manding, for great pups
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black tri-color and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
