Breeder of Collies and English Springer Spaniels

Meet the breeder

I'm Anita J., the breeder behind Briarcreek located in Carter County, KY. I offer top-quality puppies with a focus on health, form, and function. I believe quality is more important than quantity. I am a small breeder allowing me to give each of my puppies, dogs, and breedings the proper care and attention they each deserve. I am dedicated to providing happy, healthy, and well-socialized pups for others to welcome into their family. I love my pups and know you will love them, too!

Q. & A. with Anita

  • Why did you start breeding?

I want to do my part to better the breed. My breeding program focuses on maintaining the standards specific to Collies and English Spaniels while striving to produce puppies of superior health and temperament.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are an integral part of my family and daily life. This creates the ideal environment for puppies. From birth, they grow in a secure, loving environment where they know that they matter to their family -- that they have a purpose.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our Collie puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

English Springer Spaniel puppies include white and black, liver white and tan, black white and tan, and liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
