I'm Kashandra B., the breeder behind Briggs Aussies located in Bertram, TX. Our dogs are our beloved companions. We care deeply about this breed and are proud to be responsible Australian Shepherd breeders. We treasure each puppy in our program and give them all the attention and care that we possibly can. We work hard so our puppies can leave our home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family!
Q. & A. with Kashandra
Why did you start breeding?
I got my first Australian shepherd when I was in college. She was such a smart and loving dog. I wanted to breed her because she had such desirable traits.
What makes your program special?
Because I'm just a hobby breeder, I really spend lots of time with the puppies. I'm also very particular on picking the right mates/characteristics. I'm a scientist and have actually studied the genetics of these dogs to make the right decisions.
