Meet the breeder

I'm Brittaney L., the breeder behind Brit’s Doxie Crossing located in Temple, TX. We breed high-quality puppies. We love what we do and are committed to producing well-bred, healthy puppies for loving homes. The foundation of our breeding program starts with raising healthy and well-loved dogs. We aim to pass the same happiness of owning a quality-bred dog to our buyers.

Q. & A. with Brittaney

  • Why did you start breeding?

I watched my grandma raise miniature Dachshunds from the time I was a very little girl. This is something that has always been a part of my life. I knew one day, when the time was right, I would like to produce quality puppies. This journey has been such a joy.
  • What makes your program special?

We are able to dedicate much time and energy into our dogs and the puppies that we raise here. They get lots of love and attention. Our sires and dams are truly our pets. We provide lots of socialization and sensory experiences for our puppies. They go home pre-spoiled and ready to assimilate to your family. We also start our puppies on turf training.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, wild boar, brindle, wild boar and cream, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
