Cheyenne M.

Breeder of Dachshunds

Meet the breeder

I'm Cheyenne M., the breeder behind Britt Doxies located in Britt, IA. We offer smooth and wire haired miniature dachshunds to pet homes. Reach out today to add one of our pups to your family! We are devoted to bringing healthy, happy, socialized, and well-rounded dachshunds in to the world. Our puppies all start socialization and desensitization in their first week of life to ensure a smooth transition to being good dogs.

Q. & A. with Cheyenne

  • Why did you start breeding?

My parents opened their USDA licensed kennel in 2013 and have educated me endlessly on how to be a responsible and respectable breeder. I have had such a passion for dogs my whole life, but when I got my first wire haired dachshund, I knew I had to share their goofiness with as many people as I could.
  • What makes your program special?

I have one male and two female breeding dogs, so I breed on a very small scale. All of my dogs live in my home and are endlessly spoiled. I breed specifically for good temperament and healthy puppies—not color, and my prices do not vary by sex of puppy, which is very few and far between in the doxie world.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include wirehaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
