I'm Brittney H., the breeder behind Brittney's Dachshunds located in Knox City, MO. We go above and beyond to make sure all of our puppies are happy and healthy so they are ready for every new adventure 😊 We have 4 miniature dachshund. They all live inside with us as they are part of our family 💕 Our passion for this sweet, and intelligent breed goes above others. We want to produce happy, healthy, and socialized babies that you can take home and enjoy just as much as we do ours.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We want happy health babies for other families to enjoy, but we also show our babies in 4-H and it helps the kids learn so much about life, responsibility, respect, and the cycle of life. We want every family the chance to enjoy a fur baby in their life because it truly can be life changing. We do health test our dachshunds through embark to make sure you are getting the healthiest babies possible.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our puppies are socialized from the moment they are born from my husband and I and then when they are 3 weeks old we start letting our children interact with them and then around 5 weeks we start introducing our other dogs so the puppies have a very well rounded personality and experience with adults kids and other animals. We do pictures at newborn 2 weeks 4 weeks and 6 week pictures.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, chocolate and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Brittney

Brittney has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Brittney partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $3,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“They come with a collar, puppy food, vet checked, puppy pads, a toy, akc papers/apri papers and vaccination records (age appropriate shots and dewormed every 2 weeks). Our deposits will secure the puppy that you pick. They are non-refundable unless something happens on our end, then we will return you any payments you have made.”

Brittney may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     I had been searching for a dog for quite some time and wasn’t fully comfortable moving forward with other breeders. I decided not to get a puppy until I found Brittney and I am so glad I did. She is truly amazing. After reserving our puppy, I requested a FaceTime call the very next day. Her husband kindly showed us all the puppies, as well as the mother and father of our puppy.     We could not be happier with our experience with Brittney Harrison and Brittney’s Dachshunds! From the very beginning, Brittney was absolutely amazing to work with. The minute we saw a picture of our sweet Teddy, we just knew he was meant to be part of our family. 🐾 Brittney was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. She would randomly send us photos and videos of Teddy before we were even able to pick him up, which made the waiting so much more exciting! She was also so accommodating with a vacation we had planned and was willing to keep Teddy an extra week so he could stay with her until we were ready to bring him home. We truly appreciated her flexibility and understanding. We especially loved that Brittney has children at home. It gave Teddy the opportunity to interact with little ones and experience a family environment before coming to us. You can genuinely tell that Brittney and her family love these puppies and care for them like they are their own. Even after bringing Teddy home, Brittney continued to be there for us. Our first night was a little rough when our puppy was crying, and Brittney was still responding and offering advice—even at 10 PM! That kind of support meant so much to us as new puppy parents. Her husband and son brought Teddy to us, and they were both so sweet, personable, and kind. It was obvious how much they loved and cared for him, which made us feel even better about the family we chose to get our puppy from. We truly could not recommend Brittney and her family more! We have already told our family and friends about our wonderful experience, and honestly, I don’t think we will ever use another breeder. We wouldn’t change a single thing about the breeder we chose.
