I'm Brittney H., the breeder behind Brittney's Dachshunds located in Knox City, MO. We go above and beyond to make sure all of our puppies are happy and healthy so they are ready for every new adventure 😊 We have 4 miniature dachshund. They all live inside with us as they are part of our family 💕 Our passion for this sweet, and intelligent breed goes above others. We want to produce happy, healthy, and socialized babies that you can take home and enjoy just as much as we do ours.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We want happy health babies for other families to enjoy, but we also show our babies in 4-H and it helps the kids learn so much about life, responsibility, respect, and the cycle of life. We want every family the chance to enjoy a fur baby in their life because it truly can be life changing. We do health test our dachshunds through embark to make sure you are getting the healthiest babies possible.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our puppies are socialized from the moment they are born from my husband and I and then when they are 3 weeks old we start letting our children interact with them and then around 5 weeks we start introducing our other dogs so the puppies have a very well rounded personality and experience with adults kids and other animals. We do pictures at newborn 2 weeks 4 weeks and 6 week pictures.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, chocolate and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Brittney

Brittney has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $3,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“They come with a collar, puppy food, vet checked, puppy pads, a toy, akc papers/apri papers and vaccination records (age appropriate shots and dewormed every 2 weeks). Our deposits will secure the puppy that you pick. They are non-refundable unless something happens on our end, then we will return you any payments you have made.”

Brittney may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
