I'm Wendy W., the breeder behind Buddy’s pups located in Albany, OR. ⸻ Hello! My name is Wendy and I’m a small in-home Yorkie breeder who truly loves these little dogs. My puppies are raised right inside our home as part of our family. I’m married and blessed with children and grandchildren who spend time around the puppies, so they grow up used to people of all ages. Our puppies are surrounded by a loving, active environment with our other dogs and even a couple of cats. They are handled daily, socialized early, and given lots of attention so they grow into happy, confident companions. We live in a close-knit community with a nearby park where our dogs enjoy getting outside, socializing, and exploring. I put a lot of care into raising healthy, well-adjusted puppies. They are loved from the very beginning and treated like part of the family until they go to their forever homes. My goal is to match each puppy with a caring family where they will be loved just as much as they are here.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    ⸻ I originally got into Yorkies simply because I fell in love with the breed. My first Yorkie quickly stole my heart, and before long I added another, and then another. Over time, I realized how much joy these little dogs bring into a home, and that’s what inspired me to begin raising a few litters of my own. What started as a love for the breed naturally grew into a small, in-home breeding program. My goal is to raise healthy, happy Yorkies that will bring the same joy to other families that they have brought to mine

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes my breeding program special is that my puppies are truly raised as part of our family. They grow up right in our home surrounded by love, attention, and everyday household life. They are handled daily and spend time around children, other dogs, and even cats, which helps them become well-socialized and comfortable in different environments. I focus on raising happy, healthy puppies with great temperaments. Each puppy receives lots of individual care, affection, and early socialization so they are confident and ready to transition into their new homes. I care deeply about where my puppies go and want every one of them to become a cherished member of a loving family. Because I keep my breeding small and in-home, I’m able to give each puppy the time and attention they deserve from the very beginning.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Wendy

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Wendy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes a vet check first round of shots and deworming tail docked. All puppies are the same price."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
