I'm Carol B., the breeder behind Burdachs Dachshunds located in Marion, IN. At Burdachs Dachshunds, our first priority is health and temperament. We strive to breed puppies that meet the Dachshund Club of America Breed Standard. We have been raising Dachshunds for about 20 years. We have bred or co-bred about 30 AKC Champions and finished others we have purchased. We are breeders of Merit Silver with the American Kennel Club. We know one of our Dachshunds will be perfect for your family.

Why did you start breeding?
With the help of many experienced mentors, we purchased the foundation Dachshund that helped us start the program we have today. We focus on producing puppies of superior health, temperament, and conformation. We are passionate about Dachshunds and have built that love and respect for the breed into every aspect of our program.What makes your program special?
Our goal here at Burdachs is to breed to the AKC Dachshund Standard. Burdachs is committed to only breeding dogs that meet the strict guidelines for quality that we have deemed appropriate to improving this wonderful breed.
