I'm Donny T., the breeder behind C and J Minis located in Paradise, TX. We are a small in-home that focuses on the temperament and the health of all of our puppies. Our dogs and pups are our passion! Although we breed our dogs for temperament as well as health, we are also dedicated to the preservation and betterment of the breed.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have owned Dachshunds for years. After seeing what people were doing to the breed, I made it a goal in 2016 to start my own breeding program with quality in mind, not quantity!

  • What makes your program special?

    I am a very small in-home breeder who focuses on producing healthy and well-socialized puppies. All dogs are thoroughly tested and studied before being allowed as part of my program.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, chocolate, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Donny

Donny has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Donny partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Color, Size, Pedigree, and Genetics all determine pricing for my puppies. $500 deposit is required to reserve any puppy. Once reserved the puppy is no longer advertised to the public. The deposit is deducted from the total price of the puppy.”

Donny may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
