I'm Carrilea W., the breeder behind C Bar C Ranch Border Collies located in Courtland, AL. C-C Ranch Border Collie puppies have an aptitude ranging from working or herding, agility, companion, to frisbee and therapy dogs. Our goal is to raise dogs that have the ability and instinct to work stock but will also have the loving, friendly disposition of your family farm dog.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My husband and I both love ranching. We needed help around the ranch with moving stock and decided a BC was the way to go. We decided to breed Border Collies to ensure we always had a four-legged companion, as well as share our love for this breed with others.

  • What makes your program special?

    My goal is to raise dogs that have the ability and instinct to work stock but will also have the loving, friendly disposition of your family farm dog. My puppies have an aptitudes ranging from working or herding, agility, companion, to frisbee and therapy dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blue merle, red merle, black, blue, gold, lilac, red, saddleback sable, and slate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Carrilea

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Carrilea partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes $500 deposit. Remaining balance due before the puppy leaves. DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE but can always be transferred to another puppy if available or a future litter! Your deposit will hold your puppy until it is old enough to pickup. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another litter.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
