I'm Jordan C., the breeder behind Cactus J Aussies located in Eddyville, KY. We offer beautiful AKC registered puppies. Our dogs are healthy, built well, and have great temperaments! We adore our dogs! They’ve enriched our lives in ways we never imagined, and we are so happy to be able to share the wonderful qualities of the breed with others. Owning an Australian Shepherd is a beautiful experience, and it would be our honor to connect you with the perfect new addition to your family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We wanted to do our part to better this working breed. Our love for Australian Shepherd dogs has brought us so much happiness that we wanted to give back by producing the highest quality dogs and provide them with wonderful families. Our breeding program strives to maintain the unique characteristics of the Australian Shepherd. Our emphasis is on producing puppies of conformation, temperament, and superior health
  • What makes your program special?

    At Cactus J Aussies we want your dog to be your lifelong companion. We are very dedicated to our dogs as breeders. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. We take great satisfaction in finding our clients the best puppy to suit their needs and lifestyle.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jordan

Jordan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price is determined on coat color and eye color of puppy. When chosen puppy is determined. A $500 deposit is required to hold said puppy. This is deducted from initial amount of puppy. Please note- If for any reason you back out of puppy, deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jordan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
