I'm Claire K., the breeder behind Caddo Meadow’s Labrador Retrievers located in Hot Springs, AR. Our dogs are Champions in and out of the show ring! I breed Champion show line, English style Labrador Retrievers that fit any family or lifestyle! I take great pride in my program. My dogs are bred for their ability to retrieve game through frigid waters for long periods of time, their very friendly attitude, laid-back temperament, and close adherence to the Labrador Retriever breed standard.
Q. & A. with Claire
Why did you start breeding?
It was a lifelong dream to get into the world of dog shows. About 10 years ago I got my first well-bred Labrador and a fantastic mentor. From there, I was able to begin showing and start my breeding program. Breeding comes along with showing as the purpose is to only breed the best dogs!
What makes your program special?
We breed primarily to improve our own lines. We produce about 2 litters a year. We’re dedicated to breeding in strict accordance with the Labrador Breed Standard. We only breed AKC Champion and Grand Champion lines.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
