I'm Becca D., the breeder behind Cairn Terriers located in North Carolina. My program is built upon a foundation of love, admiration, and respect for the Cairn Terrier! They are beloved family members. My priority is quality over quantity with a focus on conformation and health, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. This breed is my passion, and I love spending my life with them.
Q. & A. with Becca
Why did you start breeding?
Purposeful and ethical breeding is so important for the healthy progression of the Cairn Terrier. It is important to me that I not only continue my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come!
What makes your program special?
My program is committed to only breeding dogs that are excellent representations of their standard and will make a positive contribution to their breed and to the families who love them. I care deeply about my dogs and puppies, and I do everything I can to ensure they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. I strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
