I'm Kristina L., the breeder behind Cajun Pawfection located in Ville Platte, LA. We breed top quality miniature dachshunds, both Long & Short Haired of various colors and patters. Our Mom & Dads are our personal pets, so we take great pride in our pups and love them like our own until they find their perfect forever homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Through the love of our pets and desire to nuture healthy & loved puppies. We live in the country & grew up on a farm, thus breeding has always been a natural part of our lives.

  • What makes your program special?

    Because of our small breeding program, we are able to give all Mom, Dads, and pups special love and attention as they deserve.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, gray (blue), cream, red, black, chocolate, fawn (isabella), fawn (isabella) and tan, gray (blue) and tan, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, blue and tan, blue and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kristina

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kristina partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes health guarantee, first round of vaccinations and de-worming, full rights ( AKC/CKC depending on parents registration), a goody bag, and social interaction. Deposit is part of the total price of puppy.”

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
