Caleb’s Collies

Caleb S.

Breeder of Collies

Meet the breeder

I'm Caleb S., the breeder behind Caleb’s Collies located in Commerce, GA. Our puppies are raised on our 5+ generation, 60 acre family farm. Our dogs are exposed to an array of different livestock, including but not limited to beef and dairy cattle, pigs, horses, chickens, and more! Puppies receive a ton of socialization within the household, especially from our youngest children, who are 8 and 11 years old. Their mother, Evey, is a stunning, black-tipped sable female with an even temperament and sweet disposition. Evey enjoys going to my job at the vet every day, and enjoys socializing with all of the clients. She has an exceptional health history and has served as a blood donor to numerous animals. These puppies will be suitable for life in the house, on the farm, or anything in between. Puppies will be placed on AKC Limited registration under a spay/neuter contract. Full registration is available for an additional fee.

Q. & A. with Caleb

  • Why did you start breeding?

I’ve been in the “scene” since 2015. I started my breeding journey helping well known breeders of Dobermans, Weimaraners and Bernese Mountain Dogs to care and maintain their breeding program. In 2019 I took the leap and purchased my first Collie (Evey). I waited until Evey was two years old and completely OFA health tested before breeding. I’ve since then purchased my male (Sterling) and have fully OFA tested him as well to start him in my program.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black white and tan and sable and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
