I'm Calie S., the breeder behind Calie’s Corgis located in Helmville, MT. Health, conformation, and temperament are the main focus here at Calie’s Corgis. I want to produce healthy dogs that conform to the AKC breed standard and make wonderful lifelong pets! I also want to support dogs I’ve raised and their owners throughout their dog's life.
Q. & A. with Calie
Why did you start breeding?
As a little girl I always admired Pembroke Welsh Corgis, so when I got the chance 12 years ago to adopt my first Corgi, Molly, I was so excited. I was convinced that everyone could use such a wonderful companion, so I bought my first breeding female. I was no stranger to breeding, my family raised border collies for 25 years. Corgis own a special piece of my heart ❤️ They bring joy to everyone.
What makes your program special?
I am truly passionate about what I do, my corgis get lots of love here! I strive to breed for temperament, health, and the AKC standard. You’ll always have my support, whether it’s a training question, health question or if you just want to chat about your corgi!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Calie responded promptly every time I messaged her. She was very friendly and made pickup super easy. Our puppy came with a little puppy care package and instructions which made things so much easier. We absolutely love our puppy.

I was excited to buy Roxie for my daughter's 21st birthday, and Calie with Good Dogs made it a memorable and special experience. From the very beginning, Calie was incredibly friendly, responsive, informative, and genuinely passionate about her Corgis. She was communicative and supportive, going out of her way to make the transition and pickup a wonderful and convenient experience.

We had a great experience with Calie. She was always quick to respond with questions and sent regular pictures of our puppy while we waited to get him. At pick up, he came with plenty of food to start his life with us, vitamins, a blanket with his mom’s scent (all in a cute corgi bag). Our corgi has had a great first few days with us and we are in love with our beautiful, sweet boy!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
