I'm Sara G., the breeder behind California Shih Tzu located in Bremerton, WA. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies, such as compassion, patience, and love! We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of a Shih Tzu with other individuals and families! as well as my background in breeding i am a veterinarian technician that is knowledgeable all around with puppies up until adult hood, i love watching my puppies grow and helping families add to their families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    i got into breeding because of my love for animals and the want to create my own line of my favorite breed the shih tzu, having worked with the breed in the veterinary side and knowing physical problems they may have, it helped me better understand what my breeding goals are as in making sure my puppies are healthy and will live long and happy lives

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes my breeding program special is the love that is put into not only making sure i have healthy and beautiful puppies but making sure my buyers also feel like they can come to me with any and all questions no matter how long they have had there puppy ❤️

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include liver, black and white, and liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sara

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The puppies will go home with AKC registration, first round of vaccines and first deworming as well as socialized in all areas (kids, other dogs, new environments, crate training).”

Sara may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
