I'm Patricia C., the breeder behind Callaway Country Dachshunds located in Mountain Grove, MO. Our puppies are raised in our home, they receive all the love and care we can give them. Each pup is handled everyday and as they grow they get play time, outside play, affection and schooling. It's our goal to raise a puppy who will grow into your best friend.

Why did you start breeding?
We started breeding Aussies for our farm as working dogs. But, when we lucked into our first dachshund we found a new love and one just wasn't enough! We've taken our time learning the breed and how we want to grow. We've learned a lot and strive to keep learning so we can improve our pups.What makes your program special?
We are selective in which females and males we breed and how often. We focus on producing quality in temperament, intelligence, conformation and health. We want our pups to be the best companions. As we learn more we hope to be able to provide dogs that can be traind in service.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include sable, cream, red, wild boar, chocolate, wild boar and cream, chocolate and cream, black and cream, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Patricia partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We spend a lot of time talking with our applicants getting to know them, their situation and what they are looking for in their new best friend. We will chat, use email phone and video. Applicants are encouraged to follow our Facebook page Callaway Country Dachshunds so they can easily see pictures and review our past posts and litters.”
Price
“Price includes ACA or AKC registration, microchip, pre-delivery vet check, vaccination and worming records. We also include a swag bag with starter food and goodies. Dachshunds love their blankets! All of our puppies require the same deposit regardless of sex, color, size or age.”

About Daizy
Daizy Mae is Queen in our house. She is intelligent and athletic and bossy She has no problem keeping up with the big dogs or the young ones. Her favorite thing to do is go for a car ride, or a cart ride in the grocery store and to bark at falling leaves H1 1er favorite toy is a squeek ball (she has several hidden around the house).

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Callaway Country Dachshunds! From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive and transparent, patiently answering all of our questions and providing detailed background on the puppy and its parents. After initially reaching out about him, they kept us updated with frequent pictures and videos, which made the wait so much more exciting and reassuring. It was clear they truly care about their dogs and want their puppies going to loving homes. Pickup day was smooth and they were very accommodating as we were coming from a little further away. Even after we brought our puppy home, they followed up to check in and see how everything was going, which we really appreciated. Our puppy is happy, healthy, and has the sweetest temperament. We took him to the vet after we brought him home, and received a 100% check of health with a “gold star” for receiving his first round of vacations early on! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Callaway Country Dachshunds to anyone looking for a responsible and caring breeder!

Patricia was very responsive upfront. She gave us space as thought things over and was not pushy at all. When we ready, Patricia was very helpful with sending pictures of our pup up until the very hour of delivery. She brought us an amazing puppy that we absolutely adore and has continued to be helpful with managing him days after the we got him from her. She is kind and puts a lot of passion and care into the puppies that she wants to give new homes to. If I am looking for a new pup in the future I would definitely look her way again!
