I'm Summer C., the breeder behind Camacho_Dachshunds located in Huntington, TX. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got into breeding around 2018. I’m slowly learning new things and I feel that every year my small breeding program gets better and better, I strive to have amazing, healthy, socialized puppies. I take pride in my babies and hope that who ever gets them loves them like I do.

  • What makes your program special?

    I feel that what makes my program special, is that my babies are continuously socialized day in and out, they are inside with my children and noises, they get loves and snuggles all day long and randomly. I feel that the pride I have for my puppies just shows that I’m going to give you the best puppy I can.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, brindle, chocolate and cream, black and cream, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,400 - $2,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Summer aka Camacho Dachshunds, breeds the best mini dachshunds. She is absolutely amazing!! She is so very easy to work with. She responds quickly to all texts and questions, and I had a lot. She sent me photos or videos weekly, just to keep me updated on his progress. My puppy was 9 weeks old when I got him. He was so well socialized that he loved and played happily with my whole family. He even slept through the first night. I have now had Ezekiel for a week and he is smart, spunky sweet, and healthy. Passed his first vet check with flying colors. I am so happy with the whole experience. Summer thought of everything, even sending home a bag of goodies to start him off right. Wonderful, thoughtful, and careful breeder, truly comitted to breeding healthy, quality doxies. Thank you for my beloved boy!!
