Flo M.

Breeder of Border Collies

Meet the breeder

I'm Flo M., the breeder behind Camden Creek Farm located in Shushan, NY. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!

Q. & A. with Flo

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got my first border collies over 20 years ago. I didn't realize at first how exceptional those first dogs were. Their parents were imported from New Zealand and they were brilliant, had wonderful temperments, strong frames with a nice substance and they were beautiful! I started looking for bordercollies that had similar traits and I became interested breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

I looked world wide to find healthy dogs with the type and temperaments I hoped for. Thanks to other good breeders my dogs were chosen from Australia, Germany and the USA. They are versatile- for work, agility, show or companions in active homes. Breeding dogs have been health tested by veterinarian, and DNA profiled. Puppies are raised in the house, handled,wormed,1st shots and started on housebreaking. Breeding matches are carefully thought out from champion stock.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are white and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
