I'm Lauren D., the breeder behind Camellia Creek Dachshunds located in Mc Calla, AL. We are a small, in-home, Mini-Dachshund breeding program located in Alabama. We have been Dachshund lovers for many years and have set out to preserve and protect the historic breed that we love so much! We pride ourselves on the love and care our babies receive on our 3-acre farm!

Why did you start breeding?
I have been around dog breeding my entire life as I come from a multi-generational breeding family. My inspiration for breeding was my very first Dachshund, Wally. He was the love of my life and all the encouragement I needed to improve the Dachshund breed. You can read more about Wally on the 'About Us' page on my website.What makes your program special?
We specialize in puppy socialization. All of our puppies begin a training program before leaving or home. You can be sure your puppy will have the best personality as they transition from our family to yours! All of our dogs are AKC registered and are genetically health screened to ensure a healthy puppies!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
