Q. & A. with Laurie
Why did you start breeding?
I absolutely love collies. They have become my passion. There is nothing so fulfilling as when a family comes to pick up their new puppy. Their joy and happiness is very rewarding.
What makes your program special?
Both of our puppies parents live in our house and are part of our family. We would never re-home one of our dogs because they are no longer in our breeding program.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

We got perfect pup from Laurie! She was responsive and informative! No questions left unanswered. If you’re looking for a rough collie, I 100% recommend going with Laurie. We’ve had our puppy for over a month now, she’s well mannered, playful and fast learning. The perfect companion for our daughter.

Laurie was so great to work with. She was responsive and sent regular photos of our puppy while we waited to get her. You can tell that Laurie and her husband take great care of their puppies. Our Daisy barely had any accidents after we brought het home.

Laurie was extremely helpful when it came to reassurance on the details of my new puppy. She sent photo updates and was very knowledgeable on preparing me for my newest addition.
I’m happy to say I have a new family member and I couldn’t be more happy with this whole process but mainly a beautiful, healthy, adorable, well mannered puppy.
Thanks again,

Laurie was so incredible throughout the whole process. She sent regular updates and pictures, which made us so excited about picking our puppy up! She knew so much about the breed and sent us home with a ton of information. She and her husband were so affectionate and loving with their puppies, which shows, because our Ladybird is the sweetest and most gentle puppy ever. You can tell they love their puppies so much from day 1. Our pup is so healthy and happy and is the perfect fit for our home. She is so well behaved and so so so smart. The transition went great because they sent us home with a blanket that smelled like the mother and litter, some of her toys, and treats. We couldn’t recommend Laurie enough and hope to work with her again someday when we’re ready for another dog. We love her and we love our sweet Ladybird!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Campers Collies. From the very beginning, you can tell they are reputable breeders and care for their puppies and dogs living in the home. Laurie was there for any questions I needed answer and made bringing home a new puppy easy. Highly recommend them if you are looking for a new fur baby.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
