I'm Moni N., the breeder behind Canaan Mountain Aussies located in Washington, UT. Our dogs are bred with a focus on health and temperament. The Toy Australian Shepherd, while miniature in size, still has the herding and agility tendencies as their standard-size counterparts. Our dogs are high energy and love to have a job and purpose. Aussies are the smartest dogs you’ll find with their natural herding and protecting instincts. They are the perfect family dog!

Why did you start breeding?
Our dedication to breeding the Toy Australian Shepherd began in 2017 with our first pup. It's only grown from there.What makes your program special?
We are passionate about raising Toy Australian Shepherds. We strive to always achieve high breed standards of health and temperament with our dogs. Whether on the farm, in the mountains, or by your side on the back porch, the Aussie is the dog you want! Aussies are one of the smartest and quick-witted pets you can have. We truly love our Aussies and believe you will too!Where do your breeding dogs live?

PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Australian Shepherd Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
