I'm Belinda H., the breeder behind Cane Creek Terriers located in Cookevile, TN. Established in 2012, we produce and show quality Scottish Terriers and West Highland White Terriers with a focus on temperament, conformation, and structural soundness.
Q. & A. with Belinda
Why did you start breeding?
I have worked with dogs in rescue, and recent years showing conformation for over 15 years. I have always loved the two breeds. I say once a Scottie or a Westie owns you, you will never be without one. In 2012, we started to breed these wonderful little dogs and hope we can provide you with the same joy they give us.
What makes your program special?
We take our role as breeders very seriously. We feel that as a responsible breeder we should not only work to take care of the dogs we bring into this world, but to also work to help those that are already here. That is why we work with Scottish Terrier Rescue of Tennessee and Westie Rescue of Tennessee. We strive to do all the genetic, breed related, testing for diseases.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in a kennel on my property.
