Meet the breeder

I'm Grace U., the breeder behind Canyon River Aussies located in Midvale, ID. At Canyon River Aussies we breed with the intent to better the breed, our goal being to not only meet the standard but to exceed it physically, emotionally, and mentally. Our puppies go home well exposed and well socialized. They are predisposed to be the ultimate adventure buddy.

Q. & A. with Grace

  • Why did you start breeding?

I’ve always been passionate about animals, something that’s been in my blood since before I was born. At a young age I was enthralled with the specific purposes of different breeds, and how they were bred for those purposes. After getting Echo and watching her grow into an outstanding example of what an Aussie should be, we began the journey of finding a stud that would match and balance her out, and our program was born.
  • What makes your program special?

We are extremely hands on and passionate about intentional, ethical breeding that produces quality puppies who will better the breed and be shining examples of everything an Aussie should be. Our puppies are part of the family from day one, and are treated as such long after they go to their forever homes. We are invested in the individual well being of each puppy, and strive to watch them grow and thrive in whatever adventures/wherever life will bring them.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our price reflects what we've poured into our puppies. They go home with their first shots, and dewormer as well as a full vet exam, registration papers, and a few things to make transition easier. We ask a non refundable deposit to hold your puppy until pickup. This goes to the overall cost of the puppy with the rest being due at pickup.”
