I'm Samantha K., the breeder behind Canyon Sage Springers located in Nampa, ID. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up loving animals. We bred the springers that I had as a child, and I absolutely loved every part of it. Now that I have the opportunity to do it myself as an adult, I'm desiring to do it to the best of my ability.What makes your program special?
My dam is one of my best friends. She's titled in multiple disciplines from trick to pet therapy. In addition, she has had her genetic testing and OFAs done to be sure that she does not pass on any life-altering conditions to her offspring. The puppies we have are being handled regularly, and we are using Puppy Culture protocols to insure that they are physically and mentally set up for success.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black white and tan, liver white and tan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“The price includes the puppy, a paper AKC registration, first round of shots and deworming. All puppies require a $500 non-refundable deposit.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 4 (PRA-crd4)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
