I'm Marci N., the breeder behind Capital City Corso’s located in Briggs, TX. We hold ourselves to the highest standard when it comes to our dogs and our policies. We take responsible breeding very seriously. We take pride in both their accomplishments in the ring and their amazing temperaments and abilities at home. They produce wonderful pups, and we are happy to be able to provide other families and individuals with extraordinary puppies.
Q. & A. with Marci
Why did you start breeding?
I’m not a big breeder I just breed for myself to get a pup out of my favorite dog and to produce a few show quality pups that a few friends wanted. My litter is very limited!
What makes your program special?
My dogs are raised in the house with lots of love and attention! They are working dogs on the farm, show dogs, but mostly beloved & spoiled pets! They are health tested with amazing bloodlines. The temperments of the Sire & Dam are amazing so these pups will be awesome family pets. Both Berlin & Ruger love children!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn, gray, and gray brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Berlin
Berlin is such an amazing dog! She is a champion in 3 different registries, also an International Champion! She also holds many working dog titles including Rally Obedience and Fast Cat. She is so very smart in the typical Corso fashion and protective of her family but her temperament is so amazing a 6 yr old little girl was able to take her into the show ring and win! She is very spoiled and lives inside the house with us. This is her second and last litter and puppy availability is very limited!!
Rocker is my amazing bestest boy!! Saw his sister win the National then win Best Female at Westminster and I knew I had to have one that looked similar! I championed him at only 9 months old then got his Grand Champion at 12 months! He has been temperment tested and passed with flying colors! He has many other working dog titles including Obedience, Rally Obedience, Fast Cat, Barn Hunt, CGC, CGCU, CGCA, and ATT. He won the Junior Sweepstakes at the RC Nationals at only 13 months then went on to win a big Group 4! He finished 2024 in the top 20 and received an invitation to compete at the Cane Corso National in Colorado. We went in August of 2025 and he won the top dog award earning 5 titles in 3 days! He also finished top 6 in the National Owner Handled Competition and was invited to compete at the Royal Canin AKC National in Orlando December 2025. This boy is rock solid and is absolutely gorgeous! He lives the spoiled life inside my home like my 3 girls.
Parent health testing
Breeder-Reported Testing
Excellent level
Capital City Corso’s reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Cane Corso.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
