I'm Jennifer C., the breeder behind Careaga Farms located in Dickinson, TX. Our corgis are bred for temperament, confirmation, and health. Our dogs are raised in our homes as family pets, and the puppies are whelped and raised in our home as well with exposure to kids, other dogs, cats, and all kinds of household noises.
Q. & A. with Jennifer
Why did you start breeding?
Breeding corgis is something I’ve always wanted to do, so when my husband jumped on board we took the leap. I’ve worked with breeders and done a ton of research to make sure we have a safe and healthy program that does not contribute to the overpopulation of shelters.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are our family pets. We are a small breeding program, and the health and happiness of our dogs is our top priority. We will never produce a litter to the detriment of the parents or puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

These babies are getting so big and curious! They each have a very unique personality and keep trying to play with the big dogs. They will go to the vet next week for their first set of vaccines and microchips, and would love to find new couches to play on before Easter.
