I'm Claudia G., the breeder behind Carisma Maltese located in Haslet, TX. Over 40 years experience in raising healthy, beautiful Maltese and Shih Tzu puppies which conform to AKC standards. Puppies are vaccinated, vet checked, handled daily and raised in a home environment. Placed as pets only in loving homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I became dedicated to raising these angels in my home like they should be after searching and finding unacceptable conditions. My experience in veterinary hospitals had prepared me for the care required to raise them. It was from a desire to provide the quality that I, myself wanted, for others who were searching for the same thing...beautiful, healthy puppies raised in a home environment.

  • What makes your program special?

    I plan each mating and only have 1 or 2 litters a year. My adult dogs are tested and evaluated for genetic defects that might be inherent to their offspring. We are committed to producing healthy, happy babies. With a limited number of litters produced during a year, more time can be allocated to providing a nurturing environment for the puppies to grow in. This is crucial for their development.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Claudia

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Price includes age appropriate vaccinations, necessary de-wormings, all medical records, puppy pack goes with each puppy, health guarantee, limited registration, lifetime support. All puppies require a non-refundable deposit which is deducted from the price. The deposit may be transferred to another puppy if needed, if one is available. All puppies are priced individually."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation
