Meet the breeder

I'm Carrie A., the breeder behind Carrie’s Countryside Dachshunds located in Magnolia, TX. We are AKC inspected with 100% pass rate. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. I am home 24/7 raising them 🙂 if I leave I always have someone here. I pad train them and socialize them daily with adults and children as well. You’d be suprised how many people don’t do this. It makes for a much easier transition to their furever homes! They receive deworming at 2 week increments. Vet check and shots done . Sent home is a puppy tote bag with the contents: shot record, current food sample, blanket with moms/litter mates scent, puppy pads, Puppy collar, and MORE! I also groom them, trim nails regularly (again most people don’t do this) give them baths and blow dry so they will be accustomed to this. I teach them not to pick up bad habits like chewing hands or puppy pads, but instead approved chew toys. Please message me to get to know more about me and our puppies/parents! I also enjoy frequent updates on our puppies long after they have went to their homes, some choose to stay in contact for their lifetime! We don’t mind, I’m just living in a dogs world! 😊 🥰 I offer both akc, CKC, and non registered puppies. We also Offer studding at a LOW cost! All puppies will Leave with first shots. And visitors are welcome! Gooddog has adopted a new trial run of payment plans through klarna as well for buyers!!!

It went wonderful! Carrie was one of the sweetest people I have ever met and so helpful! This is my family’s first time owning a daschund, but she gave me us wonderful tips and advice to help us get started. In addition, she gave a care package with our pup to help us out! I highly recommend Carrie!

It took me a very long time to decide on which breeder I wanted to get my new baby from.  I read many reviews and looked over many puppies before finally choosing Carrie. How wonderful the whole process went.  If Carrie isn't the best she's certainly one of the top two.  She kept me up to date, on my puppy and her littler mates, with photos and videos while they were growing and learning about the world.  I specifically honed in, and appreciated, that Carrie's young children are encouraged to play with the puppies. I can attest to it being a huge plus in socializing the pups.  My little nugget not only loves little children but turns herself inside out, with wiggles, over every one she meets. Here's one of the best parts; she was well on her way to potty training the day she came home.  She rarely misses using her pee pads.  To me that alone has been "worth the price of admission."  On the day I picked her up I could tell that Carrie was having mixed feelings about seeing her pups leave her while at the same time she was happy for me.  That is proof, to me, she truly loves what she does but she's doing it with a big heart. Anyone considering adding a cute little dachshund into their life will do well working with Carrie and bringing one of her teenie wienies into their life,   Let me introduce you to AMBER the light of my life.

It’s been 5 days since my son and I made the trek to Magnolia from Dripping Springs, TX. The trip itself was memorable and was nice to spend some time with my son. On arrival to Magnolia, we were greeted by Carrie with our little bundle of love. I probably just didn’t read the fine print, but was really surprised and happy with the nice kit she put together…just makes the transition a little more special for us and less stressful for this little chocolate weenie dog. This little doxy has totally brought joy to our home. His name is Henry. He is so curious, loving, and such a good pup. We love him, and he just completes us. Carrie, thank you for the great job you do in raising and socializing these little Dachshunds before they go to their forever homes. All that hardwork you do is so appreciated. Thanks again!

I had a great experience with Carrie. She kept me updated with photos. I just picked up my beautiful little puppy this past Monday. He is so sweet. I took him to my vet on Wednesday and she confirmed a very healthy puppy. I would definitely recommend using Carrie if you are interested in a healthy well taken care of puppy!

First of all, Carrie is awesome. Every step of the way. I can’t emphasize enough how communication is important throughout this entire process, and we were not disappointed. When it comes to the dog, all T’s are crossed and all I’s are dotted. There are no unknowns, especially with regards to health and care, and that is of upmost importance. You know their operation is legit from beginning to end. Now, the product: an unbelievably healthy and happy dog. There are so many breeders out there and so many questionable results. I know, because I have lived it! This was, and I genuinely mean this, a wonderful process resulting in what has been a wonderful experience. Now, thanks to Carrie, our family has been blessed with a happy and healthy addition to our family. Walter, the name we bestowed upon him, has been so sweet and so wonderful. An absolutely perfect puppy and we couldn’t be more grateful!
