I'm Kim, the breeder behind Carter’s Corgis LLC located in Cumming, GA. We have 3 females that we breed occasionally. Sprinkles McTinkles and Butters are our reds. Yoga Pants is our tri color and Tater is our male. (My husband was just THRILLED with my name choices haha!) They are our family pets that live with us in our home. We are just trying to spread some corgi love from time to time! :).
Q. & A. with Kim
Why did you start breeding?
My husband has always been interested in breeding dogs. He loves all things animals and outdoors. I have always loved all things Corgi! This was our compromise ;) After experiencing the miracle of the puppies births for the first time and seeing how happy and excited people get when they get a new puppy, we knew we would want to continue on this adventure!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Kim was amazing to work with and find our new family member! I had so much anxiety and was so stressed with finding a puppy from a reputable breeder that had a loving home and she not only took the time to listen to me rant she shared with me her own experience. I knew after speaking to her how much she loves her dogs. I send her photos and updates from time to time just to share how wonderful our princess is doing. She just graduated her first puppy training class and is such a big personality! She is so smart and sweet. My in-laws came to stay with us for 2 months and she has stolen my mother-in-laws heart. I have already recommended Kim to my doctor who was looking to adopt a Corgi.

Kim was absolutely amazing! She was very pleasant to work with, extremely responsive & knowledgeable. We were able to get “Girl 1” who we named Macy. We have had her since January 18, 2025 and we adore her & is very much loved in such a short period of time. We thank you Kim from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to have & love such an adorable puppy 💜 Highly recommended!!!

Kim was extremely helpful and informative about getting everything we needed ready for our first corgi puppy. The corgi herself is incredibly smart, cuddly, and well-behaved. I was surprised by how quickly she adapted to our home and fit right in. She learns tricks extremely fast and solves food puzzles in no time.

Kim was exceptional to work with from the very beginning. She gave me all the information I needed about our new pup and made the whole process very simple. Her house was lovely and we were able to meet our pup’s mother as well as the other pups in the litter to ensure we were comfortable. She told us all about our pups history, as well as the parent history. We love our little girl, and she plays so well with our three-year-old corgi. She was right at home as soon as she got here!

When people finish college and get their first career job many buy a house, or car... me, i bought a dog. A Corgi. My first baby was with me through all major life events; marriage, house, kids, cars,, etc. When we lost him 5 years ago we just weren't sure we could add another. But our 14 and 8 y/o kids were ready. So we searched....for another corgi.
I found Kim on good dog, not really having a clue what I was doing. She made this experience so so easy and BIG for our family. Kim told me about her home, her love for Corgis, my puppy's parents, and sent me updates, ANYTIME I asked.
This was a Chrostmas surprise for my family, especially my 8 y/o. Kim was part of the planning committee immediately. She helped film our kids reaction, let us meet Sprinkles McTinkles and had an entire welcome home puppy package ready for us to set off.
We are in love with our new family member and really have Kim to thank for a lot of it.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
