Ashley has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Ashley partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.
“At Casita Minis, I prioritize placing each puppy in the home that is the best overall fit for their temperament, structure, and long term success. While I absolutely take your preferences into consideration, such as gender, color, and general energy level, the final placement decision is made by me as the breeder. This is because I spend every day with the litter and get to know each puppy individually as they grow and develop. Temperament is always the top priority. I carefully evaluate each puppy’s personality, confidence, biddability, energy level, and ability to settle, and match them with the home and lifestyle where they will thrive. Picks are typically made around 7 to 8 weeks of age, after I have had time to fully assess the litter. At that point, I will work through the reservation list in order and guide each family toward the puppy that best fits what they are looking for. I know it can be exciting to have your heart set on a specific puppy, but my goal is always long term success for both you and the dog. This process helps ensure you go home with the puppy that truly fits your life, not just the one you initially gravitated toward. If you have very specific preferences, for example color or gender, I will always be honest about what is realistic and may recommend waiting for a future litter if needed. My goal is for every Casita puppy to be successful in their home for a lifetime, and thoughtful matching is a huge part of that.”

“Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to the next available litter if needed.”
Ashley may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Ashley offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Ashley directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Ashley.

My husband and I brought our sweet puppy, Ellie, home over the holidays & we couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Ashley & Casita Minis. We lost our beautiful mini Aussie a few months ago, unexpectedly. We were devastated. We finally felt ready to start exploring bringing home a new fur baby, and came across Casita. Ashley was amazing! She was so kind with guiding us on the right puppy to bring home, and never pressured us along the way. You can tell she just loves her dogs, the beautiful puppies, and the families her pups go to so much. She is so knowledgeable, organized, responsive, and kind. We felt so prepared bringing Ellie home… Ashley made sure we had everything we needed to succeed. She’s been so wonderful in following up as well to make sure Ellie is settling in well. We have loved working with the Casita Minis family and we can’t recommend Ashley enough!

I recently adopted Dorthy, a puppy from the Casita miniature American Shepherd’s Golden Girls litter. Dorthy is not only beautiful she is the sweetest puppy imaginable. We couldn’t love her more. My interactions with Ashley have been a wonderful experience. She took the time to answer my many questions starting with the time we first contacted her about adopting a puppy. She sent weekly pictures so we could watch our puppy from birth till we picked her up. I appreciate all of her knowledge and experience raising the best puppies. She makes sure each puppy comes from genetically test parents to insure healthy well adjusted puppies. She continues to offer support and has encouraged me to let her know how Dorothy is doing. Thank you Ashley for our special little girl and for your commitment to the puppies and families adopting them. Get Outlook for iOS Sent from my iPhone

This is Macchi! He is full of energy, super smart, and a very loving boy. He was quick to adjust to his new family and is now thriving in his new home! Working with Ashley was great - she was quick with her responses and helpful whenever we had questions regarding the pick up process and everything relating to caring for Macchi. We are happy to have found Macchi through her and glad she is a resource for us even now!

I'm really lucky to be able to get Teemo from Ashley! She is very responsive throughout the whole process, patient with my questions (I had a lot of them as a first-time dog owner), and I loved her transparency. Teemo was flown to us with a flight nanny that Ashley recommended, and it was a really smooth process. Teemo adjusted to his new home really quickly, and he is the perfect pup that I could ever ask for!

Ashley was incredibly helpful throughout the entire adoption process. She was quick with responding to my questions and even worked with me to schedule time to visit with the pups prior to them being ready to go home. This allowed us to discuss which puppy best fit our household and provided comfort in knowing we were making the right decision. Furthermore, Ashley has checked in with us several times since bringing home our new pup to make sure he is settling in well and provide tips on strengthening our bond with the puppy. Ashley has also created a social media support system with all her past adoptions which provides increased support as we build our lives with the new puppy. Thanks for everything, Ashley!
