Why did you start breeding?
Our journey into breeding began when a family breeder introduced us to Goldendoodles, and we instantly fell in love with the breed. After bringing home a second doodle ten years later, we were encouraged to explore breeding to help continue the family tree. With our 18+ years of experience, it felt like a natural step—allowing us to raise healthy, well-socialized puppies while honoring the breed.What makes your program special?
What sets Castaway Doodles apart is our constant presence. We're home 24/7 with our dogs, and when we travel, they come with us. Sweet, a little bit salty, and 100% wholesome🍬 Werther’s had his very first official meeting with a feline today. He’s still deciding if they’re going to be best friends or if he should just remain a respectful distance away. Verdict? 10/10 for manners, stay tuned for the blossoming bromance.

Litter update on 04 Mar. •…🌟 Litter Update: Meet Our Final Sweetheart, Werthers! 🌟 While all of his siblings are heading off to their new adventures, our handsome Werthers is still waiting for his perfect match! We’ve saved one of the best for last, and he is truly living up to his name—sweet, classic, and absolutely golden. About Werthers: • The Personality: He is the perfect balance of "zoomie" energy and "snuggle" soul. He loves a good sprint in the grass but is the first one to plop down at your feet when playtime is over. • The Progress: He is doing fantastic with his crate training and is already showing us how smart he is during our daily "puppy preschool" sessions. • The Ideal Home: Because of his wonderful energy levels, we are looking for a home with a fenced-in yard where he can safely burn off his puppy bursts. He’s going to be an incredible, loyal companion for a family ready for a "new baby" commitment!

Litter update on 21 Feb. •…The "Olympic Champion" Post Since we’re cheering on Team USA, we might as well talk about the real champions over here at Castaway Doodles! 🇺🇸🏅 While the world’s best are going for the gold, our "Sweet Tooth" litter is busy training for their own podium finishes. Whether it’s the 10-meter floor scoot, the synchronized napping event, or the heavyweight kibble-lifting finals, these pups are showing world-class form. 🦴 But in all seriousness, being a "Good Dog" breeder means our standards are just as high as an Olympic qualifying heat: • The Scouting Report: Parents are health-tested and cleared to ensure championship longevity. 🩺 • The Training Camp: Early socialization and ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) to build those gold-medal temperaments. 🧠 • The Fan Base: We’re looking for the ultimate "Head Coaches" (aka forever families) to take these athletes home! About Bailey
Bailey lives in our home, and is a 3 year old Chocolate Goldendoodle. She has a beautiful wavy chocolate coat, and weighs 60 pounds. Bailey is a very loving mom and has produced some very cute babies, with a mix or chocolate, red, and merle coats. She loves going for long walks and golf cart rides.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Ashley and her family were a joy to meet. We came to her tender hearted, a couple of years after losing our previous Golden Doodle. She was kind, and answered all of our questions.
