Meet the breeder

I'm Jared F., the breeder behind Cbk located in Illinois. We started breeding with the simple mission to better the breeds we love while producing in our vision. We do our best to socialize and acclimate each litter so we’re able to offer all-around healthy and well-mannered puppies! We'd be thrilled to connect you with your next best friend!

Q. & A. with Jared

  • What makes your program special?

We give our breeds more than just a life of breeding. We enter them in Confirmation class events, while traveling the road , hotel to hotel being the little stars they are. We raise all inside and have multiple children they adapt to properly on both kids and dogs side for well balanced socializing .
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our French Bulldog puppies include fawn, tricolors, and blue fawn. Bulldog puppies include blue tri-color, fawn, and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Breeder-Reported Testing

Good level

Cbk reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Bulldogs.

  • Patellar Luxation

Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Tracheal Hypoplasia

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • UC Davis DNA Profile (for FDSB Registration), Hyperuricosuria (HUU)

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
